We’re recovering from the terrible fire at Newsome Mills – it broke our hearts, but not our spirit

In the aftermath of the terrible fire in the early hours of Thursday 17th November 2016 that destroyed the main four-storey building at Newsome Mills, our community are supporting each other in coming to terms with our loss.

After a very difficult week for everyone, we’re delighted to be able to confirm that on Friday 25th November 2016 our landmark clock tower was declared safe.
