Introducing Castle Community Hub

Castle Community Hub offers activities and support for families and residents in the local area.

We believe by working together we can build trusting relationships and support all the community to develop the skills and resilience to make our local area even better.

The Hub has been jointly established by Berry Brow Infant and Nursery SchoolHillside Primary SchoolNewsome Junior School and Newsome High School as well as local private and voluntary nursery settings.

Through working together we aim to build community relationships, build our capacity to support each other and build opportunities for the benefit of all our local children.

We are a friendly, first point of call for your family support and, if we can’t help, we will point you in the direction of someone who can.

The Castle Community Hub building (attached to Hillside Primary School) offers daily drop-in sessions during term time and a changing programme of one-off and short courses which can help you develop new skills and may even support you to get a new or different job. The Hub is also a great place to meet new people and make new friends.

The Hub is about much more than the one building however, and support and advice will be available from all the partner organisations.

Check out our website to see what we’ve got to offer.  The Hub is for your community and needs your ideas and support in order to develop to meet the needs of everyone. Come along and get involved.  You are bound to get a warm welcome and a friendly smile!

If you’re looking for a venue for a community activity or event, we may be able to help. You can call us on 01484 226834 via the Hillside Primary School reception – please ask for Castle Community Hub.
