We need your used greetings cards

Can you help with ‘Community Cards’?

We need your used greetings cards – Birthday, Get Well, Christmas, Best Wishes, Easter, In Sympathy… and all other types of cards.

Your local collection point is Newsome South Methodist Church. There’s a place to leave your used cards just inside the door.

More collection points are planned at St. Paul’s in Armitage Bridge and the Together Shop in Newsome village. Further places may be added later in the year.

Community Cards will be made from your recycled greetings cards, by local volunteers and helpers.

Community Cards will be sold in the local community in support of:

1. The Huddersfield Welcome Centre - a registered charity which gives out support packs to local people facing crisis situations.
2. The Newsome LEP – a group of local churches working together to support vulnerable and isolated people in the community.

Please bring us your used cards, and also ask your family, friends and neighbours to give their cards too.
